DRINKERS are set to hail the ale at what is believed to be Sedgley's first beer festival.
The event will get under way at 5pm on Friday September 27 at Jubilee Hall, Ladies Walk.
The festival will continue from noon until 11pm on Saturday (September 28) and cash raised at the event will be donated to a number of good causes including the 1st Sedgley Scout group and Children in Need.
As well as a selection of ales and wines from 20 breweries and micro-breweries, the festival will also feature attractions including live music from rockers Starving Dogs, a gig from Ben and Alun Davies with special guest Marilyn Bose and traditional english dancing from 1st Sedgley Morris Men.
Festival spokesman, David Baugh, said: “We are surrounded by award winning beers and breweries with amazing stories to tell, we want to celebrate the revival in real ale, for charity. I hope this will start a traditional beer festival in Sedgley that will run for many years to come”.
