Search ends in tragedy as missing Dudley man found dead

A BODY believed to be that of missing Dudley man Garry Foster has been found in an area of Claines, Worcestershire.
Police located the body of a man near Hawford Lock Lane just after 2.15pm today (Thursday September 26) following a call from a member of the public.
Although the remains are yet to be formally identified it is believed to be Mr Foster, aged 53, who disappeared from his home with a shotgun on The Priory on Sunday (September 22).
Police believe he killed himself, a firearm was recovered for the scene.
West Midlands Police Superintendent Andy Parsons thanked members of the public who called police with information.
He added: "Our aim was always to find Mr Foster. Unfortunately our searches appear to have come to a tragic end.
"We continue to support the family with specially trained officers."
Up to 75 officers, including armed officers from both West Midlands and West Mercia police have been involved in the search.
