DUDLEY'S mayor is inviting people to join him for an event in the best possible taste with a host of tasty treats.
The Mayor, Councillor Alan Finch, is inviting people to join him at Dudley Council House on Tuesday December 3 for a charity cheese and wine evening.
Money raised from the event, which runs from 7 to 9pm, will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities, Cancer Support, The White House, Dudley, and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
The evening will include cheese and wine tasting and a talk by Tom Keys about wine making with a demonstration and samples to show the diversity of wines that can be made at home.
Councillor Alan Finch, Mayor of Dudley, said: “I’m hoping about 100 people will attend the event which will help raise money for my two charities and have an enjoyable evening.”
Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the Mayor’s secretary on 01384 815211.
