DUDLEY Council will complete the roll out of its new recycling and waste service next month.

During February, the remaining 49,000 borough households will receive two recycling bags, a grey wheelie bin for non-recyclable waste and a brochure detailing the new service – which will enable all households to recycle plastic bottles and cardboard from the kerbside.

Councillor Tracy Wood, Dudley’s cabinet member for environment and culture, said: "I would like to thank our residents for their patience as we take these final steps to roll out our improved waste services.

“The new service enables us to collect more recycling from the kerbside while making more efficient waste collections.”

Homes in phase three will receive their first collections of the new service in March and brochures being delivered to them will detail new collection dates.
