DUDLEY Council has submitted plans to build six new flats and three houses in Sedgley.
The application is for redevelopment of an old depot at The Walk and will be funded by cash from the authority plus £385,000 from the government’s Homes and Communities Agency.
If planning permission is granted, the council hopes to begin work in the autumn.
Councillor Steve Waltho, Dudley cabinet member for housing, said: “We hope to develop more sites in the future to boost our housing stock in response to local housing need.”
