BIG hearted company LaFarge Tarmac have been helping to improve facilities at Baggeridge Country Park by resurfacing eroded pathways.
LaFarge stepped in help the Sedgley beauty spot after moving their offices next door and provided the park with more than 100 tons of recycled material which is currently being used to resurface the pathways.
Councillor Mary Bond, South Staffs cabinet member for Environmental Services said: "This donation from Lafarge is incredibly welcome and gives us the opportunity to update pathways and improve accessibility around the park.
"Previously we had to rely on hand gritting the surfaces, so this will not only make the job easier, but it also means, that no matter what the weather, people can still enjoy all that Baggeridge has to offer".
