BRAVE Brockmoor graduate Jordan Pargeter is planning a free fall skydive from 13,000 feet in memory of his father who died from cancer last year.

The 22-year-old plans to make the jump above the Pocono Mountains near New York City in July with the help of skydiving centre Sky's The Limit.

He is determined to make the jump and raise money for Mary Stevens Hospice at the same time.

It's Jordan's way of saying thanks to the staff who helped look after his dad Doug Jones before he passed away last September.

He said: "I've nothing but nice things to say about the staff and the care they gave to my dad and I want to raise as much money as possible for them. They've done so much for myself and my family and continue to do so for individuals and families today."

Jordan will free fall at 120 mph before parachuting and landing on solid ground.

He will be funding the skydive himself and anyone who would like to support him can do so by logging onto http://www.justgiving.com/jump23
