MINI football fans in Brierley Hill spent the day sharpening their skills on the pitch to celebrate the start of the World Cup.
The first match in the month-long tournament kicks off later today (Thursday) and youngsters at Early Years Private Day Nursery have been getting into the spirit by taking part in football matches and creating flags and cheerleading pom poms.
Tots at the Trinity Street nursery, also took the theme to the kitchen and cooked up football cakes and biscuits, which nursery worker, Claire Smith, said was a highlight for many.
She added: "The children had a lovely day, we also had lots of football activities that the boys really enjoyed.
