TOURING with super-group McBusted has made Dudley based rock band EofE even more determined to succeed in the music business.

The band jumped at the chance to take the support slot on the 32-date tour and were given the opportunity to play to thousands of screaming fans at some of the country's biggest venues.

EofE, who only formed last year and practise at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club, comprises 17-year-old vocalist Tom Harris from Netherton, guitarist Dan Bremner, aged19, from Swindon, bassist Luke Bradley, aged18, from Gornal and drummer Nicky Waters who is 25 from Newcastle.

Tom described the tour as "an amazing experience".

He said: "We've always wanted to play arenas and that's why we set out to make a band in the first place, and to be given the opportunity so early in our career was a real surreal feeling. Playing the LG Arena in Birmingham was a really sentimental gig for us being our home town gig it was nice to see our friends and family in the crowd watching us."

He continued: "The McBusted guys were really cool and offered some good advice before we went on and talked to us from the start, which put us at ease and gave us more confidence."

Luke said the band is currently planning their next tour and working on new material, adding: "We're trying to make the success of the tour count."
