A SEDGLEY man who supplied cocaine to friends and close associates to fund his own drug habit has been jailed for 30 months.

When police officers raided the home of 26-year-old Jordan Edwards they recovered controlled drugs and drug dealing paraphernalia.

The officers found a large quantity of cocaine together with cannabis and a number of tablets which were a class C drug, said Sati Ruck prosecuting.

She told Wolverhampton Crown Court that Edwards, of Ivy House Lane, Hurst Hill, also had over £1,500 in cash.

Edwards admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply, possessing cannabis and the class C drug and he was told by Recorder Peter Cooke only immediate custody was appropriate.

Michael Garrett, for Edwards, said his client recognised he had a problem with drugs and he was now determined to put his life in order.
