A MAN was taken to hospital after he was injured following a 20-foot fall down an embankment at Wren’s Nest Nature Reserve.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to an incident involving a male in his 30s at the reserve near Mayfield Road at 5.15pm on Sunday August 17.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer; a community paramedic and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) attended the scene. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Bystanders alerted ambulance services to a man who had fallen down an embankment at the Wren’s Nest Nature Park.
“Crews located the man twenty foot down a steep slope and treated him for back and abdominal injuries.
“The patient was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
