The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between August 18-22:

Christopher Nicholas Welch, aged 24, of Malvern Crescent, Holly Hall, was fined £73 for possessing cannabis in Brierley Hill on May 27. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Jamie Scott Michael Wentworth, aged 24, of Woodside Road, Holly Hall, was given an eight week community order for dishonestly receiving stolen goods, in Dudley, between July 16 and 18. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Piotr Andrzej Urbanik, aged 43, of Overfield Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for driving in Dudley, while disqualified and without insurance, on August 11. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Jessica Megan Mason, aged 27, of Claycroft Place, Lye, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing nine DVDs, worth £89.91, from Boots, Merry Hill, on June 27. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Lesley Talbot, aged 41, of White City Road, Quarry Bank, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items worth £428.75, from various stores in Brierley Hill between July 10 and 20, while subject to a conditional discharge. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Jamie Lee Bourne, aged 34, of Pedmore Road, Lye, was given a six month community order for stealing food, worth £40, from One Stop, Lye, between May 29 and June 30. He was also fined £50 for possessing cannabis in Lye on July 22. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £25, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Lee Wayne Eaton, aged 48, of Grange Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for possessing diamorphine in Dudley on April 27. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Julie Ellis, aged 42, of Springfield Crescent, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing curtains, worth £35, from Wilkinsons, Dudley on February 26. She must pay compensation of £15, a victim surcharge of £15 and £65 court costs.

Peter Daniel Stanislaus, aged 45, of Blackacre Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing curtains, worth £34, from Wilkinsons, Dudley, on February 26. He must pay compensation of £15, a victim surcharge of £15 and £65 court costs.

Andrew Michael Smith, aged 40, of Lyndsey Place, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for attempting to steal clothing from Store 21, Moor Centre, Brierley Hill, on July 14, while subject to a suspended sentence.

Mark Carl Pritchard, aged 30, of Laurel Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for threatening to kill a woman, with the intention that she would fear said threat would be carried out, in Dudley on July 13. He must carry out 60 hours unpaid work; pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Thomas Alexander Russell, aged 22, of The Belper, Dudley, was fined £250 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Dudley on May 24. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay compensation of £150, a victim surcharge of £25 and £100 court costs.

Stuart Christopher Dublin, aged 32, of Malvern Crescent, Holly Hall, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing two bottles of wine, worth £13.98, from One Stop, Brierley Hill, on May 18. He must pay compensation of £13.98, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Andrew Robert Evans, aged 27, of Braithwaite Drive, Kingswinford, was fined £500 for possessing cannabis in Kingswinford on July 24. He must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and £85 court costs.

Daniel Goral, aged 31, of Green Park Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for drink driving, without a licence or insurance, in Dudley on July 30, while subject to a suspended sentence. When tested he had 57mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for three years.

Andrew William Povey, aged 48, of High Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for stealing electrical grooming products, worth £182.14, from Wilkinsons, Stourbridge, on June 28 and joints of mat, worth £100, from Waitrose, Stourbridge, on August 18, while subject to a suspended sentence.
