FITNESS fanatics at Dudley Leisure Centre have raised £1,800 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Fitness instructor Michael Monckton and his colleagues led a four-hour Zumbathon for the charity at the Dudley Council facility on Wellington Road on August 27.
The event included four 45 minute Zumba sessions as well as a raffle draw and participants each made a £5 donation.
Cllr Rachel Harris, Dudley cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “I would like to congratulate everyone who took part in this wonderful event, which has raised money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust."
Zumba is a type of aerobics that uses easy to follow moves inspired by salsa, samba and merengue music.
