A BLACK Country manufacturing company has announced a £2.5m expansion which will bring new jobs to Dudley.

Tipton firm Moseley Brothers Limited, which produces of pressings, press tooling and provides specialist engineering services, is relocating to a unit on Blackbrook Valley Industrial Estate.

The company’s client list includes Jaguar Land Rover and they export to countries including Germany, South Africa, China and Mexico.

Moseley Brothers’ sister company GF Laser, one of the UK’s premier laser cutting specialists, will also be moving to the new site.

John Hickman, Moseley Brothers’ managing director, said the expansion would see the company adding to its workforce of 47.

He added: “We’ve outgrown our current home and a move just three miles up the road is a perfect solution for us as it will not only give us much more space but also vastly reduce our infrastructure costs through owning our own premises.

“We’ve enjoyed strong growth in our business over the last few years, both domestically and internationally, and we envisage the move helping us to raise our turnover from £3.5 million to around £5 million.

“The move will further strengthen our press tooling, repair and modification services and initially we’ll be creating around ten new skilled and semi-skilled jobs as part of the expansion.”

The expansion has been completed with support from accountants Chantrey Vellacott, the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership's Regional Growth Fund (RGF) - accessed through Sandwell Borough Council - and funding from Lloyds Bank.
