A 29-YEAR-OLD Dudley man caught growing 12 cannabis plants at his home was hit with a seven-day curfew order between the hours of 8pm and 7am.

Daniel Bagley had been told to carry out 210 hours of unpaid work in the community after he admitted producing the controlled drug.

But Bagley, of Stourbridge Road, had only carried out 118 hours of work leaving 91 hours still to do and it was the second time he had breached the order - Paul Mytton, prosecuting, told Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He told the court the mature cannabis plants were found by cops when they conducted a search of Bagley’s home and when questioned he maintained the drugs were for his personal use.

Ekwall Tiwana, defending, said Bagley was now determined to complete his community punishment and to put his life back on the rails.

He admitted breaching the order and was told by Recorder Richard Benson QC: “These orders have to be taken seriously.”

The Recorder warned him that if there were any future breaches of the order it would almost certainly mean him spending some time in custody.
