THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between April 20 and 24:

Lee James Fisher, aged 34, of Chiltern Close, Lower Gornal, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items worth £699.12, from shops in Dudley, Great Bridge and Kingswinford, between February 23 and March 20. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on March 25, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £142.12, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Dainis Davis, aged 32, of Four Winds Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 11 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing chewing gum, worth £67, from B&M, Dudley, on April 11, and resisting two police officers in the execution of their duty in Dudley on April 19, while subject to a community order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Benjamin Edwin John Winkett, aged 21, of The Promenade, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for interfering with a motor vehicle and possessing a glass hammer in Brierley Hill on November 28, 2014. He was given a 12 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 5pm and 5am. He must pay compensation of £118.87.

Jordan McGovern, aged 18, of Lister Road, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for taking a motorcycle without the owner’s consent and driving without insurance, in November 30, 2014. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £500 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Neil Andrew Alexander, aged 44, of Cemetery Road, Lye, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing bacon and cheese, worth £67, from Murco Service Station, Stourbridge on March 12 and 14. He must pay compensation of £67, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Chinedum Okoh, aged 32, of Field Mews, Dudley, was fined £400, for driving without insurance in Dudley on April 2 and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Ross Andrew Hierons, aged 36, of Love Lane, Lye, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for stealing candles, worth £55.97, from TK Maxx, Brierley Hill, on April 20, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs.

Edward William James Fitzherbert-Stewart, aged 41, of Vicarage Prospect, Dudley, was sent to prison for six weeks for causing £500 worth of damage to a police vehicle and possessing cannabis and cannabis resin in Dudley on March 15.He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Martin Fellows, aged 63, of Foxlands Drive, Sedgley, was fined £140 for drink driving in Kingswinford on April 10. When tested, he had 89mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 22 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Alexis Amina Killworth, aged 30, of Merryfield Road, Dudley, was fined £73 for stealing alcohol, worth £45, from Morrisons, Kingswinford, on April 6. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £40 court costs.

Brian Andrew Withers, aged 41, of Woodcroft Close, Old Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing washing powder, worth £40, from One Stop Shop, Lye, on March 25. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Matthew Boulton, aged 25, of Wood Side Road, Holly Hall, was fined £670 for drink driving in Dudley on March 28. When tested, he had 82mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for failing to stop and leave details after an accident He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and £85 court costs.

Martin Poole, aged 41, of Borough Crescent, Wollaston, was fined £320 for drink driving in Stourbridge on April 3. When tested, he had 71mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also fined £320 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that violence would be used against them, in Stourbridge, on April 3. He was disqualified from driving for 28 days and must pay a victim surcharge of £64 and £85 court costs.

Roy Carlos Mitchell Carter, aged 26, of Mount Road, Wordsley, was given a six month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on February 7. He must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Alan Raymond Hobday, aged 50, of Graham Road, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in Halesowen on March 9. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Shakeel Ahmed Khan, aged 44, of Wolverton Road, Dudley, was given a six month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on February 25. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Ryan Lee Daniels, aged 20, of Laurel Road, Wrens Nest, was fined £300 for possessing cannabis in Dudley on January 12 and riding on a motorbike, which he knew had been taken without the owner’s consent, without wearing protective headgear. He must pay a victim surcharge of £25 and £150 court costs.

Sarah Louise Jones, aged 35, of Heath Green, Dudley, was given a six week community order for stealing cosmetics, worth £87.91, from Boots, Stourbridge on April 13 and alcohol, worth £33, from Co-op, Sedgley, on March 14. She was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 8pm and 7am. She must pay compensation of £120.91, a victim surcharge of £60 and £150 court costs.

Shane William Patrick O’Rourke, aged 27, of Black Acre Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 42 weeks for stealing items, worth £142.95 from shops in Dudley on April 16 and 23 and entering Big Mac’s Cafe, Stourbridge, as a trespasser on April 9 and stealing £70. Both offences were committed while he was on bail and subject to a community order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £300 court costs.

Tracey Michelle Rowley, aged 35, of Stourbridge Road, Lye, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for stealing two Yankee Candles, worth £36.98, from Hallmark, Stourbridge, on April 19, while subject to a suspended sentence. She must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £150 court costs
