THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 5 and 8:

Darvin Glen Gayle, aged 43, of Grange Road, Dudley, was fined £165 for assaulting a woman in Dudley on November 1, 2014. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £325 court costs.

Daniel Andrews, aged 21, of Richardson Drive, Amblecote, was fined £110 for drink driving in Stourbridge on April 18. When tested he had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £235 court costs.

Artur Sus, aged 35, of Bloxwich Street, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing spirits, worth £102, from Tesco, Dudley, on May 4. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £185 court costs.

Mark Ian Banwell, aged 24, of Wellington Close, Wordsley, was fined £300 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on April 19. When tested, he had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £235 court costs.

Wayne Michael Dandy, aged 34, of Lea Bank Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £383 worth of damage to a door in Netherton on April 5. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Michael Baines, aged 25, of Bromley Lane, Pensnett, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving, without a licence or insurance, in Brierley Hill on March 19. When tested, he had 99mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for possessing cannabis in Old Hill. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and must carry out 140 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Stephen Anthony Felton, aged 18, of Hallchurch Road, Dudley, was fined £400 for driving a vehicle with no registration plates, without a licence or insurance, in Dudley on April 23. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £235 court costs.

Laura Caroline Alison Quinn, aged 30, of Stourbridge Road, Holly Hall, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for stealing items, worth £202, from Asda, Great Bridge, on March 14, while subject to a suspended sentence. She must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

James Robert Bolton, aged 30, of Hagley Road, Halesowen, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman and causing £500 worth of damage to a television in Halesowen on November 30, 2014. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £60 and £100 court costs.

Darren John Oakes, aged 36, of Cross Street, Halesowen, was sent to prison for four months for assaulting a woman in Halesowen on April 5. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

David Andrew Jones, aged 34, of Kinfare Rise, Upper Gornal, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for committing fraud by attempting to return goods not purchased using a receipt belonging to someone else in Dudley on November 24, 2014. He was also sentenced for dishonestly undertaking in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, to the value of £100, and having an article with him for use in the course of, or in connection with, theft, in Dudley on January 7. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Shane David Glyptis, aged 27, of Tiled House Lane, Pensnett, was fined £165 for causing £150 worth of damage to a wall in Brierley Hill on March 17. He was also sentenced for pursuing a course of conduct that amounted to the harassment of a man in Brierley Hill between January 1 and March 24. He must pay compensation of £75, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Christopher Anthony Guest, aged 23, of Lower Derry Street, Brierley Hill, was fined £280 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on April 24. When tested he had 74mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 19 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £28 and £235court costs.

Harry Henry Quinn, aged 34, of Stourbridge Road, Holly Hall, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for stealing food, worth £56, from Asda, Dudley, on April 19, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay compensation of £56 and £150 court costs.

John Michael Newey, aged 34, of Wynall Lane, Wollescote, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for stealing items worth £34.12, from Murco Petrol Station, Wollescote, on March 12 and interfering with seven motor vehicles in Hagley and stealing a sat nav and iPad, on April 4. He must pay compensation of £34.12, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.
