A BABY boom has led to a cuteness overload at Dudley Zoo.
The zoo welcomed a pygmy marmoset into the world on Friday (June 19), just weeks after nine rare Humboldt penguin were born.
Keepers say the tiny newborn monkey is "doing very well" but they will have to wait a few weeks to find out its sex before they can decide on a name.
Meanwhile two of the young penguins have just fledged the nest to join the rest of the colony, with the rest expected to follow suit soon.
Speaking about the pitter patter of penguin feet, zoo director Derek Grove said: “The latest births are another success story for our international breeding and conservation programme with this endangered species.
“We have the largest colony of parent-reared Humboldts in the UK, which we started 24 years ago, and we're incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.”
