NEXT month will see another roster of exciting events taking place every Sunday at Himley Hall and Park.

The venue’s expert senior park warden will be on hand to lead visitors on a tree trail on July 5.

This free event will start at 10am and will take in the natural delights in the beautiful grounds on the historic site.

Exactly a week later, the venue will host Race for Life, a 5km run around Himley Park in aid of Cancer Research.

Anyone who wishes to take part must sign up via www.raceforlife.org or by calling 0871 641 1111.

Families can enjoy an afternoon relaxing to the Out of the Blue Big Band at free concert on July 19 and Himley’s senior warden will be back to lead a free Guided Walk of Himley, on August 2, which can be pre-booked by calling 01384 817 817.

Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for planning and economic development, said: “Himley Hall and Park is an amazing landmark which Dudley is fortunate to have. It is both a link to our rich history in the borough that is also providing entertainment, educational and vocational activities for everyone.”
