THE historic moment The Beatles met the king of rock ‘n’ roll Elvis Presley will be recreated in a new radio play almost 50 years to the day since it happened.

A Radio 2 play will revisit the Beatles’ trip to Presley’s Los Angeles mansion with the star of BBC’s political thriller The Game, Tom Hughes, playing John Lennon.

The meeting, which took place at Elvis’ Bel Air mansion on August 27 1965, was not filmed or taped and only a few people know what really happened.

It has been recreated by writer Jeff Young who said it made for “a strange and compelling narrative”.

Elvis is played by Kevin Mains, who previously starred as the US singer in the West End show Million Dollar Quartet and portrayed Paul McCartney in ITV’s Cilla.

The final episode of Channel 4′s Married at First Sight aired tonight and viewers were on tenterhooks.

How did the couples fare after being shortlisted from 1,500 people?

Find out how the couples got on here.

Earlier in the week, we reported that Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj had become embroiled in a Twitter row with one another after the nominations for the MTV awards were announced.

But now, Swift has apologised to Minaj.

The Bad Blood singer had accused Nicki of pitting “women against each other” after the rapper complained black women were being ignored in the nominations.

Nicki, who tweeted about how race, gender and body-type may have played into nominations, “subtweeted” Taylor.

The 32-year-old singer, whose track Anaconda is nominated for best hip-hop video and best female video, had complained it had missed out on the video of the year category.

Taylor, who is the only white woman to be nominated in the video of the year category with a video which features a variety of fashion models and slim actresses, took it as a personal attack, before extending an invite to Nicki to join her on stage.

Much has been made about the fact that Bryce Dallas Howard’s character spends all of Jurassic World in high heels – even running from the dinosaurs (the actress undertook special training to pull off stunts in stilettos).

But regardless of that, here is something parties on either side of the debate can agree on – every single character in the Jurassic film franchise in high heels. Yes, including the dinosaurs.

Thanks to the YouTube comedy troupe, XVP Comedy, those dreams have become reality in their parody video, Jurassic Park: High Heels Edition. Be sure to watch this one with sound because the click clack of stilettos makes it so much more.

Just look at Jeff Goldblum’s strut in those knee high kinky boots. Breathtaking.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 trailer just arrived, and it’s spine-tinglingly good.

The trailer shows some of the last footage ever captured of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 trailer shows glimpses of the last scenes filmed by Hoffman before his death in February 2014.

In a very brief moment, he’s seen standing with his face to the camera and tears brimming in his eyes.

His role as Plutarch Heavensbee in the successful big-screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ books was one of his final roles before his death.

In an interview with HuffPo Live last year, director Francis Lawrence spoke about not using CGI following Hoffman’s death.

He said: “He had two scenes with dialogue that were left and we decided we didn’t want to try any digital trickery with him, so we rewrote his scenes and gave the dialogue to other actors.”
