SINGER Ed Sheeran has secured another number one - this time topping Spotify’s list of the top 25 most influential artists under the age of 25.

The 24-year-old star was the company’s most streamed artist of 2014, while his ballad Thinking Out Loud the most-streamed song of all time.

Ed’s pal Taylor Swift was notably absent from the streaming service’s Global 25 Under 25 after she pulled all her music from Spotify last November.

Little Mix have joined forces with animal rights group Peta in a bid to end the suffering of animals.

The girl group star in a new ad campaign photo that features the wording: “Shackled, Beaten And Depressed. Get Wild Animals Out Of The Circus!”

In the black and white photo, the girls are pictured with heavy chains, and two of them are seated on a circus-like pedestal.

Comedy actor Owen Wilson has said he hopes to pull the rug out from under the audience’s feet with his transition to action star.

The Hollywood stalwart is best known for roles in films such as Wedding Crashers, Zoolander and Night At The Museum, as well as whimsical comedies including Midnight In Paris and The Royal Tenenbaums.

Meanwhile Rylan Clark has teasted his dream US contestant is taking part in the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The former winner will present the spin-off programme, Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, when the reality series begins on Channel 5 on Thursday August 27, with a new UK vs USA theme.

He said: “My dream American contestant is going in! I can’t tell you who but they have always been on my dream list.”
