PAUL Weller has said there is no way The Jam will ever reform, because a reunion would be against “everything we ever stood for.”

The former frontman of the chart-topping mod-rock band, who had massive success in the late 1970s-early 1980s, has made his feelings clear in a new Sky Arts documentary about the group.

According to the Daily Mirror, in The Jam: About The Young Idea, the Going Underground singer said of reuniting: “Absolutely, categorically, f***ing no. To me it would be against everything we ever stood for.

Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy have put aside their differences to film a promo for the new series of The Muppets… sort of.

The couple, who earlier this month announced they were breaking up after almost 40 years together, teamed up to announce the show will return to ABC in the US at the end of September.

But when Piggy takes a tumble on camera and Kermit tries to help her, she snaps: “Get your hands off me. It’s a little too late to show that you care now, don’t you think? You’re the one who broke up with me, remember?”

The stars of The Big Bang Theory have all been named The World’s Highest Paid TV Actors of 2015 by Forbes.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper in the sitcom about a group of science geeks, topped the list, while co-star Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) came second and Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali) shared third place.

Jim is thought to have earned £18.5 million in the last 12 months, while Johnny’s estimated earnings are £17 million and Simon and Kunal’s stand at £12.8 million.

Some spending habits shocked us completely, other people’s attitudes made us feel a bit sick, but then presenter Anne Robinson rocked up to a food back to find people “who have zero to spend” in a chauffeur driven Mercedes with blacked out windows.

It certainly wasn’t lost on the viewers.

Downton Abbey star Jim Carter has said TV viewers will need “two hankies” at the ready on Christmas night for an emotional final episode of the period drama.

The actor, who plays Charles Carson, said: “These characters, we see them. We say goodbye to them. But it’s not final. We see them setting off on different paths.”

But he added: “It’s really satisfying. Two hankies, Christmas night.” The season six trailer of Downton was premiered at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.
