Pedestrian suffers head injury after being hit by a car
A YOUNG man suffered a head injury after he was hit by a car in Quinton.
Paramedics were called to Simmons Drive at 7.20pm yesterday (Wednesday).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The man who is in his twenties had a head injury, gravel rash from head to foot, and a fractured and dislocated ankle.”
The man was sedated before he was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
