DUDLEY Zoo's baby orangutan Sprout looked like a film star when she gave her mum a Spider-Man style kiss.

The magical moment, which mirrored the famous smooch in the hit 2002 Hollywood blockbuster Spider-Man, was captured on camera by zoo regular Kathryn Willett.

The amateur photographer was thrilled with her shot of Sprout puckering up for mum Jazz while hanging upside down.

Keepers were amazed by the image as they had not seen the four-year-old behave like that before.

Head of upper primates Pat Stevens said the picture was "outstanding" and added: “I’ve never seen Sprout in such a position, never hanging upside down and she’s not normally that affectionate.

“She’s certainly mischievous and naughty and only normally goes up to cuddle her mum for reassurance after she’s been told off."
