HARRISON Ford has said the relationship between Star Wars’ Han Solo and Chewbacca is like that of “an old married couple”.

The 73-year-old, who will reprise his role as the hero in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, said reuniting with Peter Mayhew, who plays the Wookiee, after 32 years, was “warm and fuzzy”.

Harrison told Empire magazine about Han and Chewie’s friendship, saying: “They were very much like an old married couple to start with. I think people will find them very much the same as ever.”
