THE talents of young people will be celebrated with an all-singing, all-dancing event in Dudley this weekend.
Dudley’s Methodist churches have organised the workshop event, called Ignite, which will see groups from across the borough act, make music and dance at Dudley College’s Broadway Campus.
Acts include the Saltmine Theatre, who perform inspirational drama, live music will come from Harmony and dance group Stance will show off their moves.
Ignite will celebrate the ancient festival of Pentecost, allowing people - whether they’re religious or not - to reflect on what energises, motivates and inspires them.
Superintendent Minister, the Reverend Caroline Wickens, said: “I’m really proud that the Methodist church is hosting this dynamic event, and these gifted young people can showcase their talents while leading our worship.
“Everyone in the borough, whether religious or not, is really welcome to attend and reflect on what keeps them going in their own lives.”
The event will take place tomorrow (Sunday) at 10.30am.
