A SWAN suffering from suspected lead poisoning has been rescued from a Brockmoor canal.
Firefighters were called at 1.25pm today (Thursday) to help rescue the bird, which was near the bridge on Cressett Avenue.
Crews from Brierley Hill and Woodgate Valley used ladders and ropes to bring the bird to safety and left it in the care of the RSPCA.
