AN exhibition devoted to fantastic churches and where to find them will go on display at All Saints' Church in Sedgley.

Photographer Martin Jones, has highlighted eight day trips that have a religious connection for the exhibition, entitled 'Sacred Shropshire'.

The exhibition is intended to give a flavour of the rich cultural heritage and history of nearby churches and the superb landscapes that surround them.

It's the product of numerous expeditions by Martin over the past five years - intended to give people ideas for places to visit on their own excursions.

To make trips even easier, Martin has included a map for each trip, showing the location of the churches.

Information about all the tours can be found in the 'Days Out' section of the gornalandsedgley.org.uk website.

Outstanding churches in Herefordshire and Worcestershire will be featured in future exhibitions.

The exhibition, which will form part of the church's Christmas Tree Festival, is open from 10am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday and from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday.

It will run between December 2 and 11.
