THE pantomime season will last a little longer in Brierley Hill as Dick Whitty is set to come to town.
Packed with corny jokes and heaps of sexual innuendo, the show, which reworks the classic pantomime tale, Dick Whittington, will be the Market Theatre Company’s 20th adult panto.
Crowds will be entertained by a cast of just three - Nick Hooton, Carrie Laurence and Pippa Johnson - who play an abundance of familiar characters in the fast-paced show.
Pippa Johnson, who plays Dick, said: "Although we like to be rude, we never set out to offend with the adult humour. We are certain everyone who attends will have a great night.”
Glyn Doggett, manager of the Market Theatre Company, added: "Over the past 10 years of taking this show on the road we have been delighted by the audience reaction.
"We can’t wait to share this show with the people of Brierley Hill, we just hope they are ready.”
The saucy panto, which is only suitable for over 18s, will come to Brierley Hill Civic Hall on January 25 and 26.
Tickets cost £15 and are available by calling 01384 573381.
