THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between January 6 and 12:

Nathan Rann, aged 33, of Wavell Road, Quarry Bank, was sent to prison for 28 weeks for stealing electrical goods, worth £3,066.50, from shops in Brierley Hill between November 28 and December 13, 2016, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and compensation of £1,066.

Matthew Martin Crump, aged 25, of Macmillan Road, Rowley Regis, was fined £120 for placing dyed notes in a gambling machine and using a receipt to obtain clean cash, in Oldbury on October 26 and 27, 2016. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.

David Jason Poulton, aged 30, of Meadow Walk, Cradley Heath, was fined £36 for stealing food, worth £72.39, from Aldi, Netherton, on December 18, 2016. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Kailey Marie Winkett, aged 31, of French Road, Kates Hill, was fined £91 for drink driving in Dudley on December 19, 2016. When tested, she had 65mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Steven William Hands, aged 33, of Coal Street, Netherton, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £100.97, from shops in Brierley Hill and Dudley between November 4 and 25, 2016. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Lee Avey, aged 36, of Wellington Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for breaching a restraining order and possessing cannabis, in Dudley, on January 9. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Samantha Barnfield, aged 31, of High Street, Cradley Heath, was given a three month community order for stealing cosmetics, worth £98, from Tesco, Warley, on September 4, 2016. She was fined £15 and must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Richie Jackson, aged 25, of Rowena Gardens, Dudley, was sent to prison for 20 weeks for possessing a kitchen knife and stealing the passenger side wing mirror glass from a car in Wolverhampton on January 10. He must pay compensation of £40 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Joshua Edward Paul Stevens, aged 22, of Cromwell Close, Rowley Regis, was sent to prison for 52 weeks for stealing items two televisions, worth £500, in Oldbury between September 27 and 29, 2016 and driving while disqualified in Dudley on October 10, 2016, without insurance or MOT. He was also sentenced for damaging a police car. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £115 and £300 court costs.

Gemma Elizabeth Williams, aged 35, of Sanderfields Road, Sedgley, was fined £300 for selecting and concealing goods, belonging to Matalan, Brierley Hill, and exchanging them, in an attempt to make a gain for herself, on October 24, 2016. She must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £300 court costs.

Dale Geoffrey Dimmock, aged 25, of Caslon Crescent, Norton, was fined £165 for drink driving in Stourbridge on December 10, 2016. When tested, he had 86mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given 10 penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Arshad Mahmood Khan, aged 26, of Vicarage Street, Oldbury, was fined £80 for being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the drink-drive limit on January 10. When tested, he had 41mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Dale Martin Mansell, aged 35, of Priory Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing chocolate bars, worth £10, from Wilkinsons, Dudley, on November 9, 2016 and breaching a criminal behaviour order. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Pawel Jozef Kalman, aged 35, of Stanley Road, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for possessing two bags of cannabis and cannabis resin and drink driving in Great Bridge on December 25, 2016. When tested, he had 95mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 23 months and must carry out 100 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85, a £55 fine and £135 court costs.

Aaron Matthew McKay, aged 33, of Regent Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting two police officers in Oldbury on December 25, 2016. He must carry out 60 hours unpaid work and pay £100 compensation, £135 court costs and a victim surcharge of £85.

Malcolm Thomas Taylor, aged 50, of Devon Road, Wollaston, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a police officer in Stourbridge on December 25, 2016. He must carry out 140 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.
