IT'S finally Friday and the weekend is nearly upon us. So let's help you reach your destination with ease this morning.

So far the roads across the Black Country and North Worcestershire are moving reasonably well with a few areas to watch out for.

Traffic is crawling on the M5 Worcestershire. There are narrow lanes and speed restriction of 50 mph due to major roadworks on M5 both ways between J6 A449 (Worcester) and J4A M42. Works to turn this section of motorway into a smart motorway.

There is also congestion in Oldswinford, Stourbridge, on A491 Hagley Road Northbound at B4186 Glasshouse Hill / Heath Lane (Oldswinford Cross).

Temporary traffic lights on Rowney Green Lane between Radford Road and The Holloway.

The A4100 High Street, Cradley Heath, is closed both ways due to gas main work between B4173 Newtown Lane and St Anne's Road.

Temporary traffic lights on A451 Minster Road between Kingsway and Walter Nash Road West.
