A DUDLEY opticians raised £782 for Comic Relief on Red Nose Day.
Staff at Specsavers ditched their uniforms for red tops and sold the official Red Nose Day comedy specs, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Gurdeep Dosanjh, director of the Castle Street store, said: “Taking part in Comic Relief is important to us and the team did an amazing job in raising awareness for such a great cause.
“The comedy glasses were fantastic and we encouraged everyone who bought a pair to also join our giant Mexican wave on social media as well.”
