THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between April 7 and 12:

Jamie Anthony Rollinson, aged 32, of Somerfield Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for stealing items, worth £481.90, from shops in Dudley between March 19 and April 1. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Kieron Leroy Bennett, aged 30, of Sycamore Green, Wrens Nest, was fined £500 for drink driving in Dudley on March 25. When tested, he had 71mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £50 and £135 court costs.

Rebecca Jade Grace Cooper, aged 22, of Park Hill Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 42 weeks for possessing four kitchen knives in Dudley on April 6. She was also sentenced for making telephone calls that conveyed a message which was indecent or grossly offensive, for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety, while subject to a suspended sentence. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Philip Christopher McEvoy, aged 43, of Yardley Close, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing goods, worth £27.49, from Lidl, Blackheath, on April 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £138 court costs.

James Reay, aged 30, of Laurel Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £71.16 from Tesco, Dudley, on March 27. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Darren Skidmore, aged 45, of Tansey Green Road, Pensnett, was given an eight week community order for assaulting a man in Pensnett on March 27. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 6am. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Laura Caroline Alison Quinn, aged 32, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a six month community order for stealing items, worth £214.28, from shops in Dudley, between February 12 and March 31. She must pay compensation of £214.28, a £50 fine and a victim surcharge of £85.

Pawel Jozef Kalman, aged 36, of Stanley Road, Oldbury, was fined £350 for assaulting a woman in Tipton on January 28. He was also sentenced for causing £100 worth of damage to a front door in Tipton on January 30. He must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £400 court costs.
