A PROLIFIC Dudley thief has been jailed for 38 weeks.

Rebecca Jones, of Claughton Road, stole goods worth £429.80 from shops in Wolverhampton, Dudley and Kingswinford between April 30 and June 3.

At the time of the offending, the 36-year-old was subject to a suspended sentence.

Dudley Magistrates Court was told she showed a “blatant disregard” for the court order.

Jones was also ordered to pay compensation of £344.90 and a victim surcharge of £115.

The following cases were also before the courts between June 16 and 22:

Michael Joseph McIntosh, aged 31, of Woodside Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for causing £500 worth of damage to a car in Brierley Hill on June 3. He must pay compensation of £75, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Jane Woolard, aged 41, of Chapel Street, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for possessing an eight inch knife in the Red Lion pub in Brierley Hill on June 16. She must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Andrew Brandon Fereday, aged 25, of Marston Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for harassing a woman in Dudley between January 5 and 23. He must carry out 40 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £250 court costs.

Denis Marius Dragomir, aged 19, of Shedden Street, Dudley, was fined £740 for driving without due care and attention in Dudley on May 15. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance or registration plates. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and £300 court costs.

Connor-Lee Jones, aged 21, of Hulland Place, Brierley Hill, was fined £1,100 for driving without insurance or an MOT, in Stourbridge on April 9. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £110 and £135 court costs.

Craig Anthony Davies, aged 40, of William Street, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing baby milk powder, worth £49.75, from One Stop, Brierley Hill, on April 23. He was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 8am. He must pay compensation of £49.75, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Daljit Singh Sahota, aged 32, of Moss Vale Close, Old Hill, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing Scaletrix, worth £129, from Marks & Spencer, Brierley Hill on December 23, 2016. He must pay compensation of £129, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.
