A MAN accused of murdering a teenager whose body was found in a clingfilm wrapped wardrobe inside a Brierley Hill flat has made a further appearance before a judge at Wolverhampton.
Ashley Foster, aged 24, of no fixed address has pleaded not guilty to killing 17-year-old Megan Bills between April 13 and 20.
At an earlier hearing this year Foster admitted preventing the lawful and decent burial of Miss Bills whose body was discovered in the flat in Highgate Road.
The preliminary hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court was to confirm all was progressing well for the trial of Foster which is scheduled to begin on January 8.
Judge James Burbidge QC further remanded Foster in custody until he returns to the court in the New Year.
After the teenager's body was found her family admitted they had been "devastated" by their loss.
They said in a statement nothing could fill the huge gap lead by her death adding: "We trust we shall in time have the answers to help us understand why this dreadful event occurred."
