THERE are plenty of spooktacular bargains to be had at a Sedgley charity shop this Halloween.

Volunteers Janet Underwood, Hayley Baynham and Jacqui Fell have been busy decorating the window of the Raven's Rescue UK shop to display some of the stock on sale in the run up to fright night.

There is also a variety of clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, pet items and DVDs on offer at the animal rescue charity's Dudley Street shop, which opened in March.

Cash raised through the shop helps the charity to pay its monthly vet bills, which are often in the region of £3,000 - or more if there is an animal in need of emergency surgery or treatment.

Sarah Price, the founder of Raven's Rescue, said the shop had been a huge success so far, adding: "We've got regular customers popping in and we also get new faces coming through the door.

"The volunteers have been amazing since we opened, they all give up their time for free to help us raise funds in the shop and we are currently seeking new volunteers to join our team as well as donations."

Anyone who can spare a few hours to volunteer or has a donation to make, should drop in to the dog-friendly shop, which opens Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 4pm, or call Sarah on 07922204531.
