So far the roads across the Black Country and north Worcestershire are looking quite clear but there are some hot-spots to be aware of.

They include:  

Slow traffic due to debris on road on M5 northbound  between J4 A38 (Bromsgrove/Stourbridge) and J3 A456 (Halesowen/ Birmingham). 

Congestion at the Burnt Tree traffic lights in Dudley and Birchley Island in Oldbury.

Traffic is also heavier than usual on Tipton Road, Dudley. 

Speed restriction of 30 mph and one laneclosed due to major roadworks and contraflow on M5 both ways between J1 (West Bromwich/Birmingham) and J2 (Oldbury).

There are also speed restriction of 20 mph in Pensnett due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A4101 High Street at High Oak and there are gas main work and temporary traffic lights on A463 Bilston Street near School Street in Sedgley.

Electricity work and temporary traffic lights are causing delays in Rowley Regis on Hawes Lane at St Giles Avenue, and telecoms work and temporary traffic lights are in place on B4096 Old Birmingham Road in Lickey End near Lord Austin Drive.

In Oldbury, one lane is closed due to gas main work on A457 Birmingham Road between Manchester Street/Bridge Street and Pope's Lane, while a lane is closed due to gas main work on A4123 Wolverhampton Road South at B4121 West Boulevard/Ridgacre Road in Quinton.

Temporary traffic lights on A451 Stourport Road in Kidderminster near to KFC, and people should also expect delays at A441 Birmingham Road in Redditch near Weights Lane due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights.
