AN aftershave thief has been discharged conditionally for six months.

Marshal Ainge-Law, of Ferndale Road, Oldbury, stole the fragrance, worth £62, from Debenhams in Merry Hill, on September 18. 

He was also sentenced for possessing cannabis and a locking knife. 

The 18-year-old must carry out 120 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

The following also appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between October 27 and November 2: 

Christopher Neil Morgan, aged 23, of Stennels Avenue, Halesowen, was fined £200 for driving in Bearwood on September 8 when the proportion of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

John Ernest Edward Shillingford, aged 32, of Brice Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing food, worth £54, from Iceland, Dudley, on October 11. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Chloe Marie Bethell, aged 18, of King’s Way, Stourbridge, was fined £120 for assaulting a police officer in Rowley Regis on September 2. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge £30 and £250 court costs.

John Lewis Seymour, aged 35, of Highbridge Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for being drunk and disorderly in Dudley on August 27. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £100 court costs.

Bradley Patrick Thomas Mohammed, aged 21, of Tenacre Lane, Upper Gornal, was fined £240 for driving in Dudley on August 18 when the proportion of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Gavin Robert Clarke, aged 35, of The Parade, Cradley Heath, was given a four week community order for stealing a power tool, worth £47, from Homebase, Oldbury, on October 31. He was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Ashley Andrew Pace, aged 31, of Fisher Road, Oldbury, was sent to prison for 10 weeks for causing £150 worth of damage to a car in Smethwick on September 4, while subject to a suspended sentence. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on September 19, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £150 and a victim surcharge of £115.
