A DUDLEY man has appeared in court for possessing a knife in Stourbridge town centre.

Police were called to reports of a fight in High Street at around 2.50am on Sunday, November 5.

Jhevaughan Pelvis Green, of Greystone Passage, Dudley, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed weapon and later charged.

The 21-year-old was given a 12 month community order when he appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court.

He was also given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am.

Green must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Thomas Steven Wagner, aged 28, of White City Road, Quarry Bank, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £50, from Next, Brierley Hill, on October 30. He was also sentenced for breaching a restraining order in Dudley on November 14. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 3pm and 3am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Daniel Phillip Whitcombe, aged 31, of Holcroft Road, Oldswinford, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for drink driving in Stourbridge on November 15, while subject to a suspended sentence. When tested, he had 79mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving while disqualified, without insurance and failing to stop following an accident. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and was disqualified from driving for seven years.

Martin Nolan Collins, aged 23, of Kellner Gardens, Oldbury, was fined £100 for possessing cocaine in Oldbury on November 5. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.

Christopher James Fairley, aged 32, of John Street, Wordsley, was banned from driving for 28 months after he was caught drink driving in Stourbridge on November 4. When tested, he had 99mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

George David Liam McCreight, aged 20, of Bredon Court, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 24 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a man in Cradley on August 16. He must pay £200 compensation.

Brendan Francis Donnelly, aged 67, of Wallace Road, Oldbury, was fined £100 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to a person to think that violence would be used against them. He must pay £100 compensation and £100 court costs.

Daniela Jayne Brookes, aged 44, of Bundle Hill, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for 24 months for stealing boots, worth £26, from Peacocks, Dudley, on October 13. She must pay £26 compensation.

Arturs Sasovnikovs, aged 28, of Birmingham Road, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing perfumes, worth £153, from Debenhams, Merry Hill, on November 12. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Craig Love, aged 40, of Green Street, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing Beechams cold and flu powder, worth £17, from Poundland, Oldbury, on November 7. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Jason Thomas Jones, aged 46, of Vicarage Road, Lye, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for causing £500 worth of damage to two doors at St Thomas’ Church, Stourbridge on November 17 and entering French Connection Bistro as a trespasser and stealing bottles of spirits. He must pay £200 compensation.

Joshua Joseph James New, aged 22, of Thorns Road, Quarry Bank, was fined £300 for driving without due care and attention in Quarry Bank on November 10, 2016. He was given three penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £80 court costs.

Neil Lloyd Gordon, aged 52, of Smith Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for seven weeks for stealing two joints of beef, worth £30 from Asda, Dudley, on November 11. He was also sentenced for failing to attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse a class A drug, in Dudley, on April 12. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Jihad Salem Issawi, aged 30, of Uplands Road, Dudley, was given a two week community order for causing £15 worth of damage to a garden gate in Lye on November 3. He was given a two week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 6am. He must pay compensation of £15, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Ricky Ali Raza, aged 28, of Dixons Green Road, Dudley, was fined £150 for harassing a woman in Dudley between August 2 and September 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £200 court costs.

Jagdip Singh, aged 35, of Freemont Drive, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence in Dudley on November 1. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was disqualified from driving for 24 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Robert Krzysztof Kret, aged 47, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a man in Wolverhampton on September 30. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £100 court costs.

Petra Emma Hall, aged 43 of Elmbridge Way, Sedgley, was fined £265 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a two people likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Sedgley on April 3. One of the offences was religiously aggravated. She must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £500 court costs.

Nasar Ahmed Hart, aged 25, of Chestnut Avenue, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for stealing aftershaves, worth £65, from Boots, Dudley, on November 21. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Michael Cash, aged 28, of Dibdale Court, Lower Gornal, was discharged conditionally for two years for stealing alcohol, worth £111, from Asda, Sedgley, on October 20. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Bradley Jason Barratt, aged 20, of Highland Road, Dudley, was given a nine month community order for driving while disqualified in Wednesbury on November 3. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance or MOT and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. Barratt was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Simon Terence Rann, aged 38, of Kinfare Rise, Upper Gornal, was sent to prison for six weeks for damaging household items, worth £1,000 in Tipton on August 27 and damaging a window in Tipton on October 2. He must pay compensation of £1,145.
