A LOWER Gornal man has become the third to be charged with Jaskaran Kang’s murder.
Dontay Ellis, aged 18, of Central Drive, appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday (January 22), accused of killing the 24-year-old from Handsworth, who was fatally stabbed at a flat in Stourbridge Road, Dudley, on January 6.
Reggie Salmon, aged 20, from Stourbridge Road, Dudley, and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have also been charged with the murder.
All three have been remanded in custody until March 16 for a plea and directions hearing.
Their trial will begin on July 16.
Police are continuing to appeal for information regarding the incident and have urged anyone with information to call 101 giving log number 243 of 6 January.
