THE trial of a man accused of murdering a Brierley Hill father-of-two was delayed after the jury was dismissed.
Niron Parker-Lee, aged 20 and of no fixed address, has pleaded not guilty to murdering 24-year-old Mansoor Mahmood, who was stabbed outside Dixi Chicken in Brierley Hill High Street on October 15, 2016.
A jury was sworn in at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday morning (February 6) but sent home shortly afterwards following news one of the jurors' family members had fallen ill.
A new panel was selected during the afternoon and opening statements were set to begin tomorrow (February 7).
