A DUDLEY woman cried as she told a jury how she panicked when her doctor said he wanted to examine her further after rubbing his groin against her body.

The woman, who went for a consultation with Amirul Haque about a painful earache, told Wolverhampton Crown Court: "I just wanted to get away after the way he made me feel."

She said she did not want to be examined any more by Haque at the Gornal surgery, adding: "I just wanted to get out. I panicked. I left."

The 33-year-old doctor is accused of carrying out sex attacks on five female patients within a 10 day period but denies the charges.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the court that after the doctor examined her ears she told him about a neck problem.

She said he was behind her and he then began pushing his body against her leaving her extremely embarrassed.

"He was a doctor," she said. "I was brought up to respect doctors. I just wanted to get out of his room."

The prosecution has alleged the doctor, who lives in Ladypool Road, Balsall Heath, carried out the assaults for his own sexual gratification.

One of the women had earlier told the five man-seven woman jury how the doctor allegedly took down her trousers when she went to see him about her sore throat.

"I could not believe what happened," she said. "I just did not understand why he needed to take down my trousers when I went to see him about my throat."

Another of the women also maintained the doctor had examined her breasts when she went to the surgery for a consultation about her swollen ankles.

The doctor accepted after his arrest that he had examined all five women but he strenuously denied any inappropriate behaviour.

His trial in front of Judge Amjad Nawaz is continuing.
