MORE than 1,000 people downloaded the Dudley Council smartphone app in just one month.
It takes the number of people communicating with the council via the free app to over 7,000.
The app allows people to report fly-tipping, potholes and graffiti to the council - as well as making online payments, keeping up to date with the latest news and requesting services.
Councillor David Stanley, cabinet member for corporate transformations and performance, said: “The council app’s popularity continues to grow and grow because it is a great way to quickly communicate with the council.
“More and more people are heading online to report issues to us and request services. I would urge anyone who hasn’t already downloaded this app to give it a try.”
