A NETHERTON man who was wanted by police following a car chase in Dudley has been charged with a series of of traffic and theft offences.
John Field was arrested in Oldbury on Saturday night (March 10) and questioned over a string of alleged crimes.
The 27-year-old was charged with 13 offences including burglary, theft of motor vehicles, handling stolen goods, bilking, and aiding dangerous driving relating to a pursuit that started in Selbourne Road last Wednesday (March 7).
Field, of Summerfield Road, appeared before Walsall Magistrates Court on Monday (March 12) and was remanded in custody to appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on April 9.
An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of car theft and failing to stop for traffic officers has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
