COUPLES planning to tie the knot can find out about getting married at Dudley's Priory Hall this weekend.

An open day will take place on Saturday (March 17), giving people the chance to look around the Grade II listed hall, which offers two ceremony venues - The Priory Suite and The Castle Suite, as well as the statutory register office.

The wedding bonanza will also feature a bridal fashion show and displays of the personalised wedding stationery, confetti cones and the webcam and DVD facility that can be provided by Dudley registrars.

Businesses offering wedding car hire, photography and bridal flowers will also be there on the day and people can enter a free prize draw to win a wedding in the Priory Suite (pictured below).

Dudley News:

Councillor David Stanley, Dudley's cabinet member for registrar services, said: “This event attracts many local businesses and hundreds of couples who are planning their wedding every year."

He added: "It is a great opportunity to take a look around the beautiful venue and to make contact with local suppliers that can help to make dream days a reality.”

The open day will run from 10am to 4pm.
