Traffic has returned to normal on the M5 southbound following an earlier accident between J4A M42 and J5 A38 (Droitwich / Wychbold).
The accident was moved off the main carriageway, but delays remained for a short while due to three lanes being closed until around 06.35am.
In Kidderminster, Stakenbridge Lane is closed due to pavement roadworks between Churchill Lane/Iverley Lane and Stoney Lane.
In Stourbridge, Parkfield Road is closed due to bridge maintenance work between Burnt Oak Drive and Vauxhall Road. The road is closed in the short one-way section on the bridge over the railway line near Stourbridge Town station.
