A NEW coffee lounge is set to open at Himley Hall next month.
The hall, which already offers pre-booked afternoon teas on selected dates throughout the year, is branching out to offer a more informal dining experience to visitors.
Opening on April 7, the new Himley Lounge will serve up a range of tea coffees, light refreshments, soups, jacket potatoes and cakes.
It will be housed in two of the larger rooms, which look out onto the terrace and across the lawn into the grounds of the park.
The lounge opens directly into the hall’s gallery space so customers can view the latest exhibition during their visit.
People can access the lounge, which will open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 4pm, via the South Wing entrance of the main hall.
There is full disabled access, toilets and baby changing facilities and although dogs are not allowed in the hall, assistance dogs are welcome.
