THE first Dudley Castle tour of the year will zoom in on knights and armour.
There's still time to sign up for the exclusive after hours talk and tour around the 11th century castle at the heart of Dudley Zoo.
The tour, led by former castle keeper Adrian Durkin, takes place on Thursday, April 5 at 6.30pm.
Andrea Hales, the zoo's marketing manager, said: “Anyone with a passion for history is in for a real treat.
“It will be a family friendly evening where you can learn more about medieval and Tudor times and the weapons used in those periods.”
Tickets for the tour, which lasts for around two hours, cost is £4 per adult, £2 for a child (aged between eight and 15) or £10 for two adults and two children.
Pre-booking is required by visiting www.dudleyzoo.org.uk/castle-tours or by calling 01384 215313.
All funds raised from these tours will go towards the ongoing upkeep and restoration of the castle.
