A NEW convenience store is set to open in Woodsetton, following a £500,000 investment.
The Co-op store in Sedgley Road will welcome customers through its doors for the first time tomorrow (Thursday, March 29).
The store - built on the site of the former Summer House pub - will have a variety of offers and promotions for shoppers, including 10 per cent off for students with a NUS card.
Store manager, Jim Christy, said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to undertake such a significant investment in Woodsetton.
"We are really looking forward to welcoming members and customers into their new Co-op.
"Our ambition is to ensure the store is a local hub and an asset for the local community."
