A MAN has been fined £150 for possessing a knife and cannabis in Oldbury.

Matthew Bishop, of Cotswold Close, Oldbury, was was caught with the small fixed blade knife and class B drug in Oldbury on March 16.

The 26-year-old must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £185 court costs.

The following also appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between March 23 and 28:

Sugeewa Gamage, aged 45, of Mount Avenue, Brierley Hill, was fined £450 for drink driving in Brierley Hill on March 10. When tested, he had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence or insurance. Gamage was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £135 court costs.

Ryan Leslie Morris, aged 39, of Lancaster Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £750 for causing £500 worth of damage to a car windscreen and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Stourbridge on February 8. He must pay compensation of £65, a victim surcharge of £45 and £135 court costs.

Lisa Caroline Turner, aged 45, of Rosewood Road, Dudley, was given a 28 day community order for damaging the paintwork of a car in Dudley on February 24 and possessing amphetamine and cannabis. She was given a 28 day curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7.30pm and 7am. She must pay compensation of £500 and £135 court costs.

Michael Craig Allway, aged 32, of Nimmings Road, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for causing £200 worth of damage to windows in Halesowen on January 12. He must pay £200 compensation and £135 court costs.

Jack Mitchell, aged 29, of Crimmond Rise, Halesowen, was fined £200 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Halesowen on February 27 and March 15. He must pay compensation of £100 and a £30 victim surcharge.

Adrian Bill, aged 40, of Summerfield Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items from Iceland, Dudley, on January 2 and 9. He was also sentenced for entering a shed in Dudley as a trespasser with intent to steal on October 10, 2017. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 court costs.
